Description

Composition:

Each tablet contains:

• Ondansetron Hydrochloride equivalent to Ondansetron 8mg

Product Type:

Anti-emetic (Selective 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist)

Strength/Dosage:

• Strem 8mg: Ondansetron 8mg per tablet

Dosage:

As prescribed by the physician. Typically:

• Prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV):

  • Adults: 8mg 30 minutes before chemotherapy, followed by 8mg every 12 hours for 1–2 days.

• Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV):

  • Adults: 16mg one hour before anesthesia or 8mg twice daily.

• Radiotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting:

  • 8mg 1–2 hours before radiotherapy, then every 8–12 hours as needed.

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery

• Postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV)

• Nausea and vomiting associated with gastroenteritis or other medical conditions
