Dosage:

As prescribed by the physician. Typical dosage:

• Schizophrenia (Adults):

  • Starting dose: 5–10mg once daily

  • Maintenance dose: 10–20mg/day

  • Maximum dose: 20mg/day

• Bipolar Disorder (Manic & Mixed Episodes):

  • Starting dose: 10–15mg once daily

  • Adjunct therapy with mood stabilizers: 10mg once daily

• Prevention of Bipolar Relapse:

  • 10mg once daily (adjust as needed)

Indications:

• Schizophrenia

• Acute manic or mixed episodes in bipolar disorder

• Maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder
