Composition: Olanzapine+Fluoxetine

• Active Ingredients:
  • Olanzapine: An atypical antipsychotic.
  • Fluoxetine: A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI).

• Available in three strengths:
  • 3 mg Olanzapine / 25 mg Fluoxetine per capsule.
  • 6 mg Olanzapine / 25 mg Fluoxetine per capsule.
  • 12 mg Olanzapine / 25 mg Fluoxetine per capsule.

Indications:

• Co-Olan (Olanzapine + Fluoxetine) is commonly used to treat:
  • Treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) with concurrent treatment-resistant depression.
  • Bipolar Disorder (also known as bipolar depression when treating depressive episodes in bipolar disorder).
  • Sometimes prescribed to treat schizoaffective disorder.

The combination of olanzapine and fluoxetine works together by addressing both the symptoms of depression (via fluoxetine) and the symptoms of mood disturbances or psychosis (via olanzapine).
